Jose & Maria Mares River Ministries has been in operation since 1978. Founded by my missionary parents, we have a rich history of service in Mexico. They were dedicated to constructing churches, establishing food pantries, providing essential medical supplies, and nurturing the spiritual growth of communities. Through training local leaders, they ensured the sustainable operation of these churches while sharing the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in underserved areas.

They introduced the Angel program for children, a transformative initiative designed to inspire a deeper understanding of God and keep kids away from the streets. Although my parents have passed away, in 2018, I, their daughter, felt a divine calling to continue their legacy of building God’s kingdom in Mexico.

Since then, we have joined forces with Mexican churches to offer food and clothing to migrants and conduct a street ministry, providing winter coats to those in need. We’ve also raised funds to provide school supplies for underprivileged children, ensuring they have access to quality education. Our Angel gift program has brought joy to thousands of impoverished children, ensuring they receive a Christmas gift. Through our ministry, we share the word of God, showing love and compassion, as our Lord and Savior does every day.
